Wow…. I had never noticed that before. Here are my thoughts. The angels he kept in darkness, are obviously “fallen angels”. It does not say that they are in the eternal fire with Sodom and Gomorrah as in verse 7. It states they are kept in chains until the judgement of the great day. That would be the rapture, or the end of the reign of the anti-christ that follows, on this I am not sure. But I see it as they are kept blinded until this time. An application for this day and age, would be a saved person, who has fallen away and is walking as if lost. If they are ignoring all that God has shown them to bring them back, he will keep them from being able to see His Glory in things around and keep them in darkness until the final judgement day at which point he will reveal to them everything. The judgement, because they are obviously saved, is not the Heaven or Hell judgement, but the judgement that will come for Christians about what we have done to further Christ kingdom since we were saved. Really anxious to hear some feedback.
